Piston Magazine is a print publication devoted to contemporary Photography. It aims to connect emerging and established Editorial, Commercial and Fine Art Photographers from all over the world. Each contributor relates to another one, resembling the small world phenomen withing creative circles. It has been shown on exhibitions such as nozine .
In the process of creating furniture Beta Tank seeks to blur the line between classical Design and Art, effectivly producing Objects that often question their own functionality. A prime example is the Gaila Gelb Pyramid Chair. The surface of the chairs seat and the back is composed of turnable wooden pyramids which can either be set to create an even surface or spiky surface. In Taxing Art these objects are send travelling through the world to be classified by national taxation Bureaus. The project is a case study and analysis of the effect that creativity has on traditional bureaucratic procedures. The question ‘Is it design or is it art?’ exposes a lack of regulation in Government Policy which has yet to be defined. Apart from that Beta Tank tells about their Adventures and Iimpressions throughout this journey. Destinations include fairs such as Art Basel Miami and Switzerland and DMY Berlin.

Alimardani Haman is a New York based Fashion Designer with a very conceptional approach to fashion. To reflect the continuous change, his label Hamansuta yearly changes his Visual Identity. Fusing Haman and Sutra into a set of ligatures created the Logo and Visual elements for the Artificial Skin Collection 2060. The Collection features full body overalls made from stretch symbolizing an Artficial Skin. Each lookbook comes with an foldoutposter, which was also utilised as wrapping paper.

In recent reportages faces of anonymous perons are blurred via simple overlays shaped in the iconic form of common mobile phone app. Whilst in the Internet search engines and social networks virtually trace one´s every move, the idea of an existing Anonymity App sounds exiting. However by contextual and temporal classification the Identitys in the Reportages could be revealed with little investigative effort. Just as they leave traces in form clothing, posture and environment behind, are virtual movements trackable via transmitted data. I´d like to imagine the possibility of an App you could easily switch on and off in order to disapear from the digital radar, becoming a true stealth surfer.
